Stoning/Rajam Verse:-

Leviticus 20: 10" And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death"

*** The method of execution in the Bible is death by stoning (for both guilty parties, men and women who are MARRIED) so that most of the people would act as executioners to cleanse themselves from an abomination***

Surah 24:2         "The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication flog each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you in their case in a matter prescribed by Allah if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment"

*** The verse mandates that both men & women are whipped irrespective as to whether ther are MARRIED or UNMARRIED ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 5.188        Narrated byAmr bin Maimun
During the pre-Islamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them.

*** According to the divinely inspired ahadith, even the monkeys knew the law of Rajam.

The reader must wonder and reflect upon the veracity of even the
Sahih Hadiths when such as the story above was permitted to be 'canonised'.

No wonder that Bukhari was only able to glean about 3000 'true' stories from an incredible 300-600,000 ones that he heard during his lifetime of research***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.803        Narrated byAsh Shabi
From 'Ali when the latter stoned a lady to death on a Friday. 'Ali said, "I have stoned her according to the tradition of Allah's Apostle."

*** Ali faithfully followed the example of Muhammad (Sunna) and NOT the Quran ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.804        Narrated byAsh Shaibani
I asked 'Abdullah bin Abi Aufa, -Did Allah's Apostle carry out the Rajam penalty (i.e., stoning to death)?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Before the revelation of Surat-ar-Nur or after it?" He replied, "I don't know."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.805        Narrated byJabir bin Abdullah Al Ansari
A man from the tribe of Bani Aslam came to Allah's Apostle and informed him that he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and bore witness four times against himself.
Allah's Apostle ordered him to be stoned to death as he was a married person.

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.817/16        Narrated byIbn Abbas
"……. In the meantime, 'Umar sat on the pulpit and when the callmakers for the prayer had finished their call, 'Umar stood up, and having glorified and praised Allah as He deserved, he said, "Now then, I am going to tell you something which (Allah) has written for me to say. I do not know; perhaps it portends my death, so whoever understands and remembers it, must narrate it to the others wherever his mount takes him, but if somebody is afraid that he does not understand it, then it is unlawful for him to tell lies about me.

Allah sent Muhammad with the Truth and revealed the Holy Book to him, and among what Allah revealed, was the

Verse of the Rajam (the stoning of married person (male & female) who commits illegal sexual intercourse, and we did recite this Verse and understood and memorized it. Allah's Apostle did carry out the punishment of stoning and so did we after him.

I am afraid that after a long time has passed, somebody will say,

'By Allah, we do not find the Verse of the Rajam in Allah's Book,'

and thus they will go astray by leaving an obligation which Allah has revealed. And the punishment of the Rajam is to be inflicted to any married person (male & female), who commits illegal sexual intercourse, if the required evidence is available or there is conception or confession……."

*** It is said that it was Uthman bin Affan who took out this particular Verse hence actually tampering with 'holy writ' ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.824        Narrated byAsh Shaibani
I asked 'Abdullah bin Abi 'Aufa about the Rajam (stoning somebody to death for committing illegal sexual intercourse). He replied, "The Prophet carried out the penalty of Rajam," I asked, "Was that before or after the revelation of Surat-an-Nur?" He replied, "I do not know."

*** Surat al Nur 24:2  was the one in which stoning was NOT prescribed as a punishment for adultery but flogging with 100 stripes.

As usual in numerous cases of Quranic verses, they are invariably abrogated by a later one. In this case there was no abrogating verse but the Sunna of Muhammad - his actions in life - acted as an abrogating verse instead thus making Muhammad's Sunna superior to Allah's Quran ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.809/825        Narrated byIbn Umar
A Jew and a Jewess were brought to Allah's Apostle on a charge of committing an illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet asked them. "What is the legal punishment (for this sin) in your Book (Torah)?" They replied, "Our priests have innovated the punishment of blackening the faces with charcoal and Tajbiya."  'Abdullah bin Salam said, "O Allah's Apostle, tell them to bring the Torah." The Torah was brought, and then one of the Jews put his hand over the Divine Verse of the Rajam (stoning to death) and started reading what preceded and what followed it. On that, Ibn Salam said to the Jew, "Lift up your hand." Behold! The Divine Verse of the Rajam was under his hand. So Allah's Apostle ordered that the two (sinners) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned. Ibn 'Umar added: So both of them were stoned at the Balat and I saw the Jew sheltering the Jewess.

*** This story in fact, demolishes all the innuendos or accusations made about the Jews having 'perverted' the words of the Torah or altered them.

Here we have proof that the words are NOT altered but ONLY their meaning (tahrif) or interpretation thereof was.

That is why the Jews, allegedly, covered the words that actually existed. Had they altered the words, the verse of Rajam would not have been pronounced.

As usual, the Ahadith invariably discredit the Quran and its later falsified interpretations ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.424B        Narrated byIbn Abbas
I used to teach Qur'an to 'Abdur-Rahman bin Auf. When Umar performed his last Hajj, 'Abdur-Rahman said (to me) at Mina, "Would that you had seen Chief of the believers today! A man came to him and said, 'So-and-so has said, "If Chief of the Believers died, we will give the oath of allegiance to such-and-such person,)  'Umar said, "I will get up tonight and warn those who want to usurp the people's rights." I said, "Do not do so, for the season (of Hajj) gathers the riffraff mob who will form the majority of your audience, and I am afraid that they will not understand (the meaning of) your saying properly and may spread (an incorrect statement) everywhere. You should wait till we reach Medina, the place of migration and the place of the Sunna (the Prophet's Traditions). There you will meet the companions of Allah's Apostle from the Muhajirin and the Ansar who will understand your statement and place it in its proper position." 'Umar said, "By Allah, I shall do so the first time I stand (to address the people) in Medina." When we reached Medina, 'Umar (in a Friday Khutba-sermon) said, "No doubt, Allah sent Muhammad with the Truth and revealed to him the Book (Qur'an), and among what was revealed, was the Verse of Ar-Rajm (stoning adulterers to death)."
(See Hadith No. 817,Vol. 8)

***Although the Quran stipulates an exact and unambiguous punishment for adultery - flogging-  none the less, both Muhammad and his followers ignored this and 'preferred' instead 'stoning to death ...the Divine Verse of Rajam..' which is missing from the Quran.

It is a remarkable assertion by Umar that he knew about such a verse which was never written down by the scribes in the Quran abrogating the one prescribing whipping.

It shows that there were many other verses of the Quran - as reported in some of the Ahadith - that were missed, tampered with or destroyed rendering its contents suspect to say the least especially since it is alleged to be
" the words of Allah" and Allah would not have allowed anything to be missing
in it ***
